Selecting work order for recording part consumption details

This page, you can select the work order for which the part consumption or component replacement details are to be entered. Tell me more.

Select the “Record Part Consumption” link under the “Hangar Work Reporting” business component.

The “Select Work Order” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a work order. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Visit Package #	The visit package number for which the work orders details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays all the work orders that are associated to the visit package whose numbers are similar to the number entered here.
Aircraft Reg #	The registration number identifying the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays all the work orders that refer to the aircraft whose registration numbers are similar to the number entered here.
Work Order #	The number identifying the work order (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays the work orders whose numbers are similar to the number specified here.
Work Center #	Use the drop-down list box to select the work center for which the work order details are to be retrieved. The system retrieves the work orders that are associated to the work center selected here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work order details irrespective of the work center. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the work order to be retrieved, which could be “Scheduled”, “In-Progress” or “Completed”. The system retrieves the work orders that are of the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work order details irrespective of the status. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Job Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the job. The system displays the options “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” and “Component Removal”. The system leaves this field blank by default.
Consumption Mode	Use the drop-down list box to select the consumption mode for the part. The system displays the options “Regular” and “Backflushed”. The system leaves this field blank by default.
Consumption Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the consumption status for the part. The system lists the following options: “Not Issued” – Select this option if you wish to retrieve all those work orders for which issue document has not been raised. “Partially Consumed” – Select this option if you wish to retrieve all those work orders for which the ‘Consumed Quantity’ is less than ‘(Issue Quantity – Return Quantity)’. “Consumed” – Select this option if you wish to retrieve all those work orders for which ‘Consumed Quantity’ is equal to ‘(Issue Quantity – Return Quantity)’. The system sets the field to “Consumed” by default.
Customer #	The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft. (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work orders that refer to the aircraft whose owning agency number matches with the customer number entered here.
Customer Name	The name of the customer owning the aircraft. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the name in full, or specify it partially using the "*" character. The system retrieves all the work orders that refer to the aircraft whose owning agency name matches with the customer name entered here.
Adv. Search ID	Use the drop-down list box to select the search ID. The system displays the work orders based on the search criteria specified for the search ID. Leave this field blank if you do not wish to retrieve the work order details based on the search ID. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Select the “Edit” link alongside to modify the advanced search criteria.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the work order to be retrieved, which could be “Scheduled”, “In-Progress” or “Completed”. The system retrieves the work orders that are of the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work order details irrespective of the status. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria specified:

Visit Package #	The number identifying the visit package to which the work order is associated.
Work Order #	The number identifying the work order for which the part consumption details or component replacement details are to be entered.
Work Order Description	The textual description of the work order.
Status	The status of the work order, which could be “Scheduled”, “In-Progress” or “Completed”.
Job Type	The type of the job, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”.
Order Type	The type of the work order.
WO User Status	The user status assigned to the work order.
Aircraft Reg #	The aircraft for which the visit package is applicable.
Work Center #	The work center associated to the work order.
Work Center Description	The textual description of the work center.
Customer #	The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft.
Customer Name	The name of the customer owning the aircraft.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the work order for which the part consumption or component replacement details are to be entered.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Record Parts Consumption” link at the bottom of the page to record the part consumption information.
Select the ‘Record Component Replacements” link at the bottom of the page to record the component replacement details.
Select the “Record Backflushed Part Information” link at the bottom of the page to record the backflushed part details.

Select the “Set Adv. Search Criteria” link at the bottom of the page to set advanced search criteria, to search for work orders.

Selecting work order for recording part consumption details – An overview

In this page, you can select the work order for which the part consumption or component replacement details are to be entered. If you know the work order number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the visit package number, aircraft registration number, work order, work center number, predefined search criteria or the work order status. Based on the search criteria, the system displays the work order details.

The details such as the associated visit package, work order number, work order description, work order status, job type, work order type and user status are displayed. The aircraft for which the visit package is applicable, the work center associated to the work order and the work center description, are also displayed. The customer number and name is also displayed.
