Issuing certificate of maintenance for visit package – An overview
In this page, you can create, authorize or cancel a Certificate of Maintenance. A Certificate of Maintenance is issued at the completion of each aircraft visit. The system automatically generates a CoM number, each time a CoM is issued after the aircraft visit.
For the visit package, the system lists all the employees who signed off those tasks or sub tasks, with status other than “Preclosed” or “Cancelled”. You can add more employees who signed off the task, in the multiline. Information regarding the key persons involved in the visit execution are recorded as part of the CoM. Resolution of all pending discrepancies and deficient item (component) list and compliance of all sign-off requirements are ensured prior to the issue of a CoM.
The system updates the CoM details with the name of the employee who created, authorized or modified the CoM, along with the date.
