Mapping warehouses to the selected user

This page enables you to map multiple warehouses to the selected user. The warehouses must be in “Active” status and must be defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the current business component.
Select the “Grant Warehouse Access to User” link in the “Select User” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked user name in the multiline of the same page.
The “Grant Warehouse Access to User ” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “User Information” group box:

User Name |
The name of the data entry operator, for whom the warehouse access rights must be provided. |

Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Enter the following in the “Warehouse Information” multiline:

Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse for which the user must be provided the access rights (Alphanumeric, 10). Mandatory. This number must be defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the current business component and must be in “Active” status. |

Note: Ensure that the warehouse number is not duplicated in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields:

Warehouse Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. |
|
Warehouse Category |
The category to which the warehouse belongs. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the warehouse number to which multiple users must be mapped.
Select the “Grant Access” pushbutton, to map the warehouses to the user.
Note: If the warehouse allows stock transactions in an offline area, the system grants access rights to employees of the warehouse to its work center. In turn, employees of the work center are provided access to the warehouse.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Grant Access Privileges for Warehouse” link at the bottom of the page, to associate the selected warehouse to multiple users.

Enter the warehouses to which the user must be mapped, in the “Warehouse Information” multiline.
Click the “Grant Access” pushbutton
