Mapping multiple users to a selected warehouse

This page enables you to map multiple users to the selected warehouse. The user must be in “Active” status and must be defined in the “Employee Information” business component.
Select the “Grant Access Privileges for Warehouse” link at the bottom of the “User – Warehouses Mapping” page or“ Map Warehouse- User” link at the bottom of “Edit Warehouse Information” page .
The “Associate Users” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Warehouse Information” group box:

The number identifying the warehouse for which multiple users must be mapped. |

The textual description of the warehouse. |
Enter the following in the “Copy Details” group box:

Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse, from which the details are to be copied (Alphanumeric, 10). The warehouse must have been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the current business component and must be in “Active” status. |

The system copies all the users mapped to the warehouse specified in the “Warehouse #” field.
Enter the following in the “User Information” multiline:

User Name |
The name of the data entry operator to be mapped to this warehouse (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. Ensure that the user is defined in the “Create Employee File” activity of the “Employee Information” business component and is in “Active” status. Help facility available. |
Note: Ensure that the user name is not duplicated in the multiline.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the user name for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to remove the user from the warehouse.
Click the “Associate Users ” pushbutton, to associate the users to the warehouse.
Note: If the warehouse allows stock transactions in an offline area, the user automatically acquires access rights to the work center of the warehouse. Conversely, if the user is removed from the warehouse, the work center becomes inaccessible to the user.

Enter the users to be mapped to the selected warehouse, in the “User Information” multiline.
Click the “Map User – Warehouse” pushbutton.
Copy details from an existing warehouse
You can copy details from a warehouse that is already defined. Details such the warehouse code, description, category from the existing warehouse.
Enter the warehouse number from which details must be copied, in the “Copy Details” group box.
Click the “Map User – Warehouse” pushbutton.
A warehouse is generated.
