Edit Scrap Note – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to edit a scrap note that is in “Draft” or “Returned” status. You can also cancel a scrap note in this activity.

The “Select Scrap Note” page allows you to select the scrap note for modification. The scrap note cannot be modified by another user after it has been fetched. You can also cancel the scrap note in this page. The “Manage Scrap Note” page allows you to modify the selected scrap note.

In this activity you can

Modify Scrap Note

You can specify the search criteria and select the scrap note to modify its details. A scrap note only in “Fresh” or “Returned” status can be modified.

• Use the “Select Scrap Note” page to select a scrap note for modification.

• Click the hyperlink “Scrap Note #” to modify the scrap note details.

Cancel the Scrap Note

You can cancel the scrap note that is already created. Scrap note cannot be modified or processed if it is cancelled.  

• Use the “Select Scrap Note” page to select a scrap note for cancellation.

• Click the “Cancel Scrap Note” pushbutton to cancel the material request.

The system updates the scrap note to “Canceled” status.
