Using Online Help

This page enables the user to view the basic manufacturing details like product structure details, process plan details and engineering drawing information that can be modified and saved in this page before releasing the make work order. User can retrieve the latest manufacturing information for the part and given date.

The “Manufacturing Data” page appears.

Note: This page can be invoked only if Shop Job Type of the Work Order is 'Make'.

The system displays the following in the group box:

Work Order #

The work order against which you wish to save the manufacturing data.

Description

The textual description of the work order.

Primary Work Center #

The number identifying the primary work center in which work order is executed.

Status

The status of the work order which could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Planned”, “In-Progress”, “Completed”, “Pre-closed”, “Closed”, “Duplicate”, “Cancelled”.

Creation Date

The date and time of creation of the work order.

The system displays the following:

 As on Date

The date and time at which you wish to retrieve the manufacturing details.

Product Structure Details

The system displays the following:

Certificate Type

The type of the certificate required to be issued against the part.

The system displays the following in the “Product Structure Details” group box:

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

PS Class

Use the drop down list box to select the product structure class. The system lists all the values defined for the part in the “Manage Product Structure” page.

The system displays the following:

Revision #

The revision number of the product structure.

Status

The status of the product structure which could be “Approved”.

Effect. From / To

The date range in which the product structure revision is active.

Process Plan Details

Process Plan #

The process plan mapped to the product structure part.

The system displays the following:

PP Description

The textual description of the process plan.

Type

The process plan type which could as “Standard” or “Specific”.

Revision #

The revision number of the process plan.

Status

The status of the process plan which could be “Active”.

Effect. From / To

The date range in which the process plan revision is active.

Drawing Information

Source Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the source for which the drawing information is retrieved. The system lists the values “Product Structure”, “Part #”, “Task #” and “Others”.

Source #

The number corresponding to the source type selected.

Managed at

Use the drop-down list and select “Library” if the engineering drawing is saved at the library. Else select “Direct”. The system lists the value "Library" nly when there exists a Component Interaction Model (CIM) with the "Library" business component.

Document #

The number identifying the document having an engineering drawing.

Description

The textual description of the document.

Document Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the document. The system lists all the active document types with “Maintained In Library?” field set as “Yes”, as defined in the “Create Reference Document Type” activity of the “Common Masters” business component.

Revision #

The revision number of the document.

Effective From

The date from which the document is effective.

Effective To

The date until which the document is effective.

File Name

The name of the file attached to the document.

Help facility available.

Reference #

The reference number of the document.

Primary Location

The primary location of the document.

Remarks

Any remarks related to the document

No of Sheets

The number of copies of the document.

The system displays the following:

Revised Date

The date on which the document is revised.

Web Ref. #

The web reference pertaining to the document.

Received From

The name of the source from where the document is received.

Receipt Date and Time

The date and time at which the document is received.

Drawing Location

The location of the engineering drawing.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The name of the user who created the document.

Created Date

The date on which the document is created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the document.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the document was last modified.

Additional Remarks

Any remarks or comments regarding part manufacture.

User Defined 1

Any user-defined information regarding part manufacture.

User Defined 2

Any user-defined information regarding part manufacture.

Note: You cannot modify the manufacturing data of the work order is in "In-Progress" status.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The name of the user who created the manufacturing details.

Created Date

The date on which the manufacturing details were defined.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the manufacturing details.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the manufacturing details were last modified.

Source

The source OU from which the manufacturing details are replicated.

Owner

The target OU to which manufacturing details are replicated.
