Recording certificate information
This page lists all the certificates that are required to be issued for the part. You can add additional certificates that are required to be issued for the part.
Select the “Certificate Information” link in the “Manufacturing Data” page, “Plan Work Order” page or “Record Shop Execution Details” page of “Shop Work Order” business component.
The “Certificate Information” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Certificate Information” group box:
Work Order # |
The work order for which certificate is to be issued. |
Work Order Description |
The textual description of the work order. |
Primary Work Center # |
The primary work center in which the work order is executed. |
Part # |
The number identifying the product structure part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Quantity |
The quantity of the part. |
Enter the following fields in the “Certificate Details” multiline:
Certificate Type |
Use the drop-down list and select the type of the certificate defined for the part. The system lists all the ‘Active’ Certificate Types defined for ‘Certificate For’ as 'Part' in the “Logistics Common Master” business component. |
Certifying Authority |
Use the drop-down list and select the Certifying Authority for the part. The system lists all the ‘Active’ Certificate Authorities defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component. |
The system displays the following:
Certificate Requirements |
The certificate requirement defined for the part in the “Maintain Manufacturing Information” page is displayed here, which could be “As Requested” or “Mandatory”. |
Enter the following:
Required? |
Use the drop-down list and select “As Requested” or “Mandatory” to modify the certificate requirements. |
Remarks |
Any remarks related to the certificate. |
The system displays the following:
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the certificate information. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the certificate information were last modified. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the certificate details.
Note: The “Save” pushbutton is displayed only if the status of the work order is "Draft", "Fresh", "Planned" or "In-Progress".
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Manage Certificate Applicability” link to manage certificate applicability.
Select the “Issue Certificate Of Maintenance” link to issue certificates for the part.
Select the “Maintain Part Manufacturing Information” link to define manufacturing information for the part.
