This page allows you to view the details of the return document created for returning the spare parts.  Tell me more.

The “View Material Return” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. If the format is not defined, the system will display the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

 

The system displays the following fields in the “Return Document Details” group box:

Return #

The number identifying the return document for which the details are displayed.

Status

The status of the return document which could be one of the following:

 
  • Draft – When the return document is created in the “Create Inventory Return” activity.

 
  • Fresh – When all the information is added for the return document.

 
  • Confirmed – When the return detail is confirmed.

 
  • Canceled – When the return detail is canceled and it cannot be referred to in other activities.

By default, this field is left blank.

Return Type

The type to which the return document belongs.

User Status

The user-defined status of the return document.

Return Warehouse #

The warehouse to where the parts are returned.

Warehouse Description

The textual description of the warehouse.

Return Date

The date on which the parts are returned.

Return Category

The category to which the return belongs.

The system displays the following fields in the “Reference Document Details” group box:

Ref. Document Type

The type of the reference document.

Ref Document #

The number identifying the reference document.

Ref. Doc Location

The organization unit in which the reference document is located.

The system displays the following in the “Trading Partner Information” group box:

Trading Partner #

The code identifying the trading partner.

Trading Partner Type

The type of the trading partner, which could be “Supplier” or “Customer”. The system retrieves and displays the “Trading Partner Type” from the “Customer/Supplier” business component.

Trading Partner Name

The name of the trading partner.

The system displays the following in the “Ownership Details” group box:

Ownership

The owner of the part, which could be “Customer”, “Owned” or “Supplier”.

Owning Agency

The code identifying the agency that owns the part.

The system displays the following:

Base Currency

The base currency of the logged in organization unit.

The system displays the following fields in the “Parts Information” group box:

Line #

The line number for every returned part listed in the multiline.

Issue Part #

The number identifying the part, that is issued.

Lot #

The number identifying the lot to which the part belongs.

Serial #

The serial number of the part.

Return Basis

The basis on which the part must be returned, which could be "Core", "Excess" or "Returnable".

Return Part #

The part number of the returned part.

Return Quantity

The quantity of parts returned.

Return UOM

The unit of measurement of the returned part .

Return Stock Status

The status of the returned stock.

To Stock Status

The stock status to which the returned stock is assigned.

 To Stock Status is same as the Return Stock Status

Return Serial #

The serial number of the returned part.

Return Lot Type

The return lot type of the part.

Return Lot #

The lot number of the returned part.

Manufacturer Lot #

A unique number identifying the lot number issued by the manufacturer.

Certificate #

The number identifying the certificate.

Certificate Type

The certificate type associated with the part.

Certificate Date

The date on which the certificate was issued. The certificate date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that the certificate date is earlier than or the same as the current date.

Account Usage

The type of the accounting usage.

Costing Usage

The type of the costing usage.

Current Condition

The current condition of the part as specified in the “Aircraft” business component .

Condition Returned

The condition in which the stock was returned.

Expiry Date

The date of expiry of the part being returned

Trading Partner Type

The type of the trading partner, which could be “Supplier” or “Customer”.

Trading Partner #

The code identifying the trading partner.

Part Description

The textual description of the returned part

Part Type

The type of the part, such as component, that was returned.

Part Control Type

The part control type of the requested part, which could be one of the following:

 
  • Lot- Controlled – This indicates that the part is lot- controlled.

 
  • Serial- Controlled – This indicates that the part is serial -controlled.

 
  • Lot- & Serial- Controlled – This indicates that the part is lot- and serial-controlled.

 
  • None – This indicates that the part is neither lot-controlled nor serial -controlled.

Expense Type

The type of expense incurred while purchasing the part, which could be either “Capital” or “Revenue”.

Value

The actual value of the returned parts.

Issued Quantity

The quantity of parts issued by the warehouse.

Issued UOM

The unit of measurement of the parts issued.

Reference #

The code identifying the reference document associated with the stock return document.

Remarks

Additional information pertaining to the stock return document.

WO Line #

The line number of the shop work order for every returned part, if the reference document type is “Shop Work Order”.

Task #

The task associated with the work order for every part returned, if the reference document type is “Shop Work Order”.

Material Type

The material type, which could be “Main Core” or “Regular”.

The system displays the following details in the “Other Details” group box:

User Defined Detail – 1

User-defined details of the parts returned.

User-Defined Detail – 2

User-defined details of the parts returned.

Remarks

Textual description of the comments.

Returned By

The user name and code of the person who returns the parts.

The system displays the following in the “Attachments” group box:

File Name

The file name of the reference document pertaining to the stock return.

The system displays the following details in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The name of the user who created the return document.

Created Date

The date on which the return document was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the return document.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the return document was last modified.

Confirmed By

The name of the user who confirmed the return document.

Confirmed Date

The date on which the return document was confirmed.

Viewing material return details – An overview

View Return - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can view the details of the return document created for returning the spare parts. The system displays details such as the return document number, the status, the type and category of the return, the date on which the return was created, the user status and the number and description of the return warehouse.  The reference document details such as the reference document number, the location of the reference document and the type of the reference document are also displayed.

The system displays the details of the returned parts such as the line number, the issue part number, the serial number, the lot number, the return basis, the return number, the part description, the lot and serial number of the parts returned, the returned quantity, the stock status, the condition in which the part is returned, the type and description of the part, and the expense type and value of the returned stock.
