Viewing storage information

This page allows you to view the details of the storage information created in the “Edit Material Return” activity . Tell me more.

Select the “View Storage Information” link at the bottom of the View Material Return” page to update the material return details.

The “View Storage Information” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Return Information” group box:

Return #	The number identifying the return document that must be used to update the return details.
Status	The status of the return document which can be “Fresh”, “Draft, "Confirmed" or "Canceled".
Return Warehouse #	The code identifying the warehouse for material return.
Description	The textual description of the warehouse.

The system displays the following in the “Storage Details” multiline:

Line #	The line number of the returned part.
Part #	The number identifying the returned part.
Part Description	The textual description of the part.
WH – Zone #	The number identifying the zone in the warehouse to where the part is returned.
Bin #	The number identifying the bin in the warehouse to where the part is returned.
Return Quantity	The quantity of the part, which is to be returned to the warehouse.
Issue Quantity	The number of parts that were issued. If the same line number is split into multiple Zone-Bins, then system displays this field as blank.
Part Type	The type to which the returned part belongs.
Part Category	The category to which the returned part belongs.
Mfr. Serial #	The manufacturer serial number of the returned part.
Serial #	The serial number of the returned part.
Mfr. Lot #	The manufacturer lot number of the returned part.
Lot #	The lot number of the returned part.
Total Return Qty.	The total quantity of the returned part. If the same line number is split into multiple Zone-Bins, then system displays this field as blank.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the returned part.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View References” link at the bottom of the “View Material Return” page to view the references details.
Select the “Upload Documents” link at the bottom of the page to upload various documents associated with the parts.
Select the “View Associated Doc. Attachments” link at the bottom of the page to view the various documents that are associated to the return document.

Viewing storage information details – An overview

In this page, you can view the details of the storage information created in the “Edit Material Return” activity. The system displays details such as the return document number, the status, and the number and description of the warehouse. Based on the line number chosen you can also view the part number, the part description, the type and category of the part, the serial and lot number, the total quantity returned and the unit of measurement of the returned quantity. The system also displays the warehouse information such as the bin and zone number, as well as the return and issue quantity.
