Set Repair Order Options – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to set default options for the various fields in the activities of the “Repair Order” business component. You can also modify the options that are already defined. You can set these following options in this activity:

• Default numbering type for Auto Repair Order

• Default insurance cost in the repair order.

• Retrieve related tasks in the repair order

• Default repair process code for perpetual tasks.

• Generate quotations for under warranty repairs manually or automatically.

• Default numbering type for Auto Warranty RO

• Allow or disallow addition of work unit

• Allow or disallow deletion of work unit

• Allow or disallow addition of discrepancies

• Allow or disallow addition of non routine tasks

• Setting acknowledgement of order as mandatory or non mandatory

• Allow or disallow repair order only on unserviceable parts

•  Enforcing component warehouse checking

• Setting option for  spares supplied

• Allow or disallow return to location different from issue location

• Setting option for  component list price as standard cost or enterable

• Part-Repair Process Code mapped to Supplier

• Allow or disallow cost amendment of closed repair order

• Quotation Type Allowed for Invoicing

• Default repair agency for a part

• Basis for generating quotation

• RO status of automatically generated quotation for non-contracted parts
