Recording Aircraft Effectivity for fleet

Tab overview: This tab specifies the aircraft that will comprise the fleet. Alternately, you can create a fleet comprising specific aircraft, or aircraft belonging to specific models or specific groups. You can also create a fleet for a specific ownership exclusively. This would mean all the aircraft owned by a customer or owned by the organization or leased out or leased from external sources will become part of the specific fleet. You can also set the period during which the aircraft will be effective for the fleet for reliability reporting purpose.
Select the “Aircraft Effectivity” tab in the “Manage Fleet Definition” page.
Enter the following details in the multiline.

Aircraft Reg. # |
The aircraft you want to associate with the fleet. Help facility available |

Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model you want to associate with the fleet. Note: You must not specify this field, if you have specified aircraft registration # for the fleet. Help facility available |

Aircraft Group # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft group you want to associate with the fleet. The drop-down list box lists the Active aircraft group defined in the Aircraft business component. Note: You must not specify this field, if you have specified aircraft registration # for the fleet. |

Aircraft Group Description |
The description of the aircraft group associated with the fleet. |
Enter the following details in the multiline.

Ownership |
Use the drop-down list box to select the ownership of the part. The drop-down list box displays the following: Customer, Owned, Leased and Leased out. Note: You can exclusively create a fleet for an ownership by selecting an option in this field and by not specifying aircraft, aircraft model and aircraft group. |

Owning Agency # |
The unique identifier of the owner of the aircraft. Note: This field is mandatory, if you have selected Owned in the Ownership drop-down list box. |

Owning Agency Name |
The name of the owning agency that owns the aircraft belonging to the fleet. |
Enter the following details in the multiline.

Effective From |
The start date of the aircraft effectivity period. Mandatory. Note: The Effective From date must be later than the Analysis From date. |

Effective To |
The end date of the aircraft effectivity period. |

Remarks |
Additional information on the aircraft effectivity. |
The multiline displays the following information

Last Modified By |
The login user who most recently modified the record. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the login user most recently modified the record. |
To proceed
Select the “Report Applicability” tab to specify the reports applicable for the fleet.
Select the “Part Effectivity” tab to associate parts with the fleet.
