Recording Aircraft Details
This tab provides the ability to map the Aircrafts covered under the MRO Warranty Agreement. This tab identifies various aircrafts for which the warranty agreement is valid. This tab includes the information at Aircraft Model or at Aircraft Reg. # level.
If the Aircraft Model # or Aircraft Reg. # is mentioned here, then the document is valid only for the work done against AME in the mentioned aircraft model or aircraft reg. #.
Enter the following fields:
A/C Model # |
The model number of the Aircraft. Help facility available. |
A/C Reg # |
The registration number of the Aircraft. |
Part Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the part type. The system lists the values “Component”, “Expendable”, “Kit”, “Tools”, “Consumables”, “Miscellaneous” and “Raw Material” along with a blank value. The system displays the blank value, by default. |
Part Group |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the part groups. The system lists all the “Active” Part/Service Groups defined in the “Create Part/Service Groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. |
Equipment Group |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the Equipment Group. The system lists all the “Active” Quick Codes defined under the Quick Code Type “Equipment Group” in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Aircraft” business component. |
Equipment Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the Equipment Category. The system lists all the “Active” Equipment Category defined in the “Maintain Cabin Equipment List” activity of the “Configuration” business component. |
The system displays the following fields:
Aircraft Induction Date |
The date on which the aircraft was inducted. |
Aircraft Operation Date |
The date on which the aircraft is put to operation. |

Remarks |
Any remarks regarding the aircraft coverage. |
Enter the following field:
Aircraft Coverage Notes |
Any textual notes on aircraft coverage. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to record the details of the aircrafts covered under the MRO Warranty Agreement.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Part Details” tab page to specify the Parts covered under the Warranty Agreement.
Select the “Warranty Details” tab page to specify the combination of the Part – Customer Account attributes covered under the Warranty Agreement.
Select the “Warranty Terms” tab page to identify the terms of Warranty offered like the Claim Remedy, Costs covered under warranty, Failed part disposition, etc.
Select the “Customer Details” tab page to map the customers for whom the MRO Warranty Agreement is applicable.
Select the “Other Details” tab page to define the general inclusion and/or exclusion terms against an MRO Warranty Agreement.
Select the “Back Billing Details” tab page to define the back billing information against an MRO Warranty Agreement.
