This page allows you to close the aircraft forecast. Tell me more.

The “Close Forecast” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast that you wish to close (Alphanumeric, 40) You can enter the forecast number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecasts that are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to the select user-defined status of the forecast. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes of the type “User Status” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default.

End Date From

The starting date, in the range of end dates till which forecast is valid (Date Format). This date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field.

End Date To

The ending date, in the range of dates till which forecast is valid (Date Format). This date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that this date is later than or the same as the date entered in the “End Date From” field.

Sub Fleet #

The number identifying the sub fleet (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the sub fleet number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the forecasts associated to the sub fleet entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts irrespective of the sub fleet.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the forecasts associated with the aircraft specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the forecasts irrespective of the aircraft to which they are attached.

Note: Leave all the fields blank to search for all the forecasts, which are in “Released” status and to which the login user is mapped.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Forecast #

The number identifying the forecast.

Re forecast count

The reforecast count of the selected forecast.

Start Date

The starting date of the forecast.

End Date

The ending date till which the forecast is valid.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to the select user-defined status of the forecast. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes of the type “User Status” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Sub Fleet#

The number identifying the sub fleet.

Sub Fleet Desc

The textual description of the sub fleet.

Note: Ensure that at least one aircraft forecast is selected in the multiline.

Closing aircraft forecast – An overview

In this page, you can select and close an aircraft forecast. You can carry out a search based on the forecast number, user status, effective period and aircraft registration number. Based on the search criteria, the system displays the forecast and sub fleet details. Before closing, you can change the user status of the forecast.

The system updates the status of the aircraft forecast as “Closed”.
