Map Carrier-Ship To Entity

Select the “Map Carrier-Ship To Entity” activity under the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

The “Map Carrier-Ship To Entity” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” section:

Carrier / Agency #	Use the drop-down list box to specify the Carrier / Agency #. The system lists all the ‘active’ Carrier / Agency # defined in the “Maintain Carrier /Agency Code” screen with ‘Carrier / Agency Type’ other than 'Carrier'. The system leaves the field blank, by default.
Carrier / Agency Name	The name of the carrier / agency.
Ship To	Use the drop-down list box to specify the entity to which the Carrier / Agency # is mapped. The system lists the options “Customer”, “Supplier” and “Warehouse” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.
Ship To Code	The code identifying the Ship To entity.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the results in the multiline.
Enter the following field in the “Entity Information” multiline:

Carrier / Agency #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the Carrier / Agency #. The system lists all the ‘Carrier / Agency #’ defined in the “Maintain Carrier /Agency Code” screen with ‘Carrier / Agency Type’ other than 'Carrier'. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

The system displays the following field:

Carrier /Agency Name

The name of the carrier / agency.

Enter the following fields in the “Entity Information” multiline:

Ship To

Use the drop-down list box to specify the entity to which the Carrier / Agency # is to be mapped. The system lists the options “Customer”, “Supplier” and “Warehouse” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Ship To Code

The code identifying the Ship To entity.

§ If the “Ship To” is selected as ‘Customer’, then the system lists all the ‘active’ operational customer in the smart search.

§ If the “Ship To” is selected as ‘Supplier’, then the system lists all the ‘active’ Supplier in the smart search.

§ If the “Ship To” is selected as ‘Warehouse’, then the system lists all the ‘active’ warehouse in the smart search.

The system displays the following field:

Entity Description

The description of the Ship To Entity.

Enter the following field in the multiline:

Address ID

Use the drop-down list box to specify the Address ID of the Entity.

The system displays the following fields in the “Entity Information” multiline:

Address	The address of the Address ID.
City	The city of the Address ID.
State	The state of the Address ID.
Country	The country of the Address ID.
Zip Code	The zip code of the Address ID.

Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the entity information.

The system ensures that the Carrier / Agency # - Ship To - Ship to Code - Address ID combination is not repeated.
