Edit Cause Code – A summary of the activity

The "Edit Cause Code" activity allows you to modify the details of the cause codes that are already defined in the system. You can select the cause code that you need to modify. The "Edit Cause Code" page allows you to specify the search criteria and select the cause code you need to modify. You can modify the cause description and the status of the selected cause codes. The system updates the modified details and stores the name of the login user and the current server date.

The “Edit Model Effectivity” page allows you to select a cause code and modify or add aircraft models to which the cause code is applicable.

Modify cause code status

You can modify the status of the cause code as “Inactive” or “Active”.

• Select the cause code in the “Edit Cause Code” page.

• Select the appropriate option in the “Status” drop-down list box in the multiline.

Update model effectivity for a cause code

You can modify the model effectivity for a cause code.

• Select the cause code in the “Edit Cause Code” page.

• Go to “Edit Model Effectivity” page.

• Modify the aircraft model #number in the “Aircraft Model #” field.
