The “Edit Model Effectivity” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Cause Details” group box:

Cause #

The cause number selected in the main page.

Cause Description

The description of the cause number.

Zoom facility available.

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model for which the cause code is applicable (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory. Ensure that the aircraft model is already defined in the “Create Aircraft Model” activity under “Aircraft” business component and is in “Active” status.

Help facility available.

The system displays the following:

Model Type

The model type of the selected aircraft model.

Model Description

The textual description of the selected aircraft model.

Note: If you delete an aircraft model from the multiline, then the system ensures that no fault code, along with its cause codes, is associated to the deleted aircraft model number.

 

 

 

Updating model effectivity for a cause code – An overview

In this page, you can specify the aircraft models to which the cause codes are applicable. The system updates the model effectivity details and associates them with the selected cause code. You can also detach aircraft models that are already associated with the selected cause code.
