Approve Fault Code – A summary of the activity
The "Approve Fault Code" activity allows you to cancel, approve or inactivate fault codes that are already defined in the system. You can select the fault codes that you need to cancel, approve or inactivate.
Fault Code Status Changes
You can cancel a fault code, which is in “Fresh” status. When you cancel a fault code, the system changes the fault code status to “Cancelled”. The fault code will not be available for further use.
You can approve a fault code, which is in “Fresh” or “Inactive” status. When you approve a fault code, the system changes the fault code status to “Approved”.
You can inactivate a fault code, which is in “Fresh” or “Active” status. When you inactivate a fault code, the system changes the fault code status to “Inactive” and the fault code will not be available for further use. You can change the status to “Active”, when required.

Process fault codes listed in the multiline
Cancel, Approve or Inactivate fault codes
You can cancel, approve or inactivate fault codes that you created in the “Create Fault Codes” activity.
Go to the “Approve Fault Code” page and search for the fault code.
Select the fault code, which you need to cancel, approve or inactivate, listed in the multiline.
Click the “Cancel FC”, “Approve FC” or “Inactivate FC” pushbutton to cancel, approve or inactivate the selected fault code.
Process fault codes listed in the multiline
You can process all the fault codes listed in the multiline by selecting the “Process All” check box.
Go to the “Approve Fault Code” page.
Check the “Process All” box, if you wish to cancel, approve or inactivate all the fault codes that are listed in the multiline.
