Selecting customer record for editing
In this page, you can select a customer record whose details you want to edit. You can search for a customer by providing filter criteria such as customer code, customer name, reference status, operational status, parent customer code, supplier code, customer account group, operator code, address and delivery area of the customer. The system retrieves the details of the customer according to the search criteria specified.
Select the “Edit Customer Record” link under the “Customer” business component.
The “Select Customer” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a customer. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Customer # |
The code identifying the customer whose details must be edited (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the customer code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customer codes that are similar to the code entered here. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the customer name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customers whose customer names match the one entered here. |
Reference Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the customer to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve customers irrespective of their reference status. The system sets this field as “Active” by default. |
Operational Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the operational status of the customer. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve customers irrespective of their operational status. The system sets this field as “Active” by default. |
Parent Customer Code |
The code of the parent customer (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the parent customer code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customers with the parent customer code entered here. |
Supplier # |
The supplier code of the customer (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the supplier code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customers with the supplier code entered here. |
Customer Account Group |
The customer account group associated with the customer (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the customer account group code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customers with the customer account group entered here. |
Operator # |
The airline operator code of the customer (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the airline operator code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customers with the airline operator code entered here. |
Address |
The address of the customer (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the customer address in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customers with the address entered here. |
Delivery Area # |
The code of the area to which the goods are delivered (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the delivery area in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the customers with the delivery area entered here. |
Note: If all the fields in the search criteria are left blank, the system retrieves all the ‘active’ customers created in the organizational unit, which you have logged into.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria provided:

The airline operator code of the customer |

The reference status of the customer, which could be “Active”, “Inactive” or Under Creation” |
Operational Status |
The operational status of the customer, which could be “Active” or “Inactive” |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the customer whose details you want to edit.
Activate Customer
You can activate a customer record, which is in the “Under Creation” or “Inactive” status. Before activating a record you must ensure that a customer account group is associated with the customer.
Click the “Activate Customer” pushbutton to activate the customer selected in the multiline.
The system updates the reference status of the customer record as “Active”.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Edit Payment Receipt Details” link at the bottom of the page to enter the payment receipt details for the customer.
Select the “Edit Commercial Details” link at the bottom of the page to enter the commercial information for the customer.
Select the “Edit Sales Point Details” link at the bottom of the page to enter the sales point information for the customer.
Select the “Edit Customer Main Information” link at the bottom of the page to edit the main information of the customer.
Select the "Edit Parts Supplied by Customer" link to define details of the parts supplied by the supplier for maintenance service execution.
Select the "Manage Additional Options" link at the bottom of the page to define various operating parameters for individual customer and for each customer the transaction varies.
Select the “Maintain Entity Level Identification Ref.” link at the bottom of the page to record the supplier’s tax registration number at a tax region level.
Select the “Manage Customer Part Sale Program Details” link to map key parameters for a customer with a particular sale type.
