Entering part master details for a customer

This page allows you to define details of the parts supplied by the supplier for maintenance service execution. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Customer Part Master List” link at the bottom of the “Select Customer” page.

The “Edit Customer Part Master List” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Details” group box:

Customer #

The code identifying the customer for whom the part master details must be entered.

The operational status of the customer must be “Active”.

Customer Name

The name of the customer

Enter the following field:

Restriction Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the parts are supplied by the customer or not. The system lists the following options:

Exclude – Select this option to indicate that the parts are not supplied by the customer.
Include – Select this option to indicate that the parts are supplied by the customer.

The system displays “Include” by default.

Enter the following fields in the “Spare Part Details” multiline:

Part #

The number identifying the part (Alphanumeric, 40). This part number must be already defined in the “Part Administration” business component and must be unique to the multiline.

Help facility available

The system displays the following field:

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Enter the following fields:

Customer Part #

The customer part number (Alphanumeric, 40)

Help facility available.

Replenishment Policy

Use the drop-down list box to select the method by which the part would be replenished. The system lists the options “Order Based” and “Periodically”.

Note: Ensure that atleast one record is entered in the multiline.

Click the “Edit Part Details” pushbutton to update the material master list for the customer.

The system updates the part details and stores the customer part number for the part number entered.

Enter the part number and customer part number.
Select the appropriate Replenishment Policy.

This page allows you to define details of the parts supplied by the supplier for maintenance service execution. You can enter the part number, customer part number, whether the part is a customer or internal part, and the replenishment policy. You can specify whether the replenishment of the part is done periodically by the customer or based on an order.
