Viewing aircraft configuration information – An overview
You can view the details of the selected aircraft configuration in this page. The system displays the aircraft registration number, model to which the aircraft belongs, configuration class associated to the aircraft, status and revision number of the aircraft configuration.
For viewing the position code details, you can carry out a search based on the position code, part number, the parent part number, ATA chapter to which the position code is associated or the level code. Details such as the position code, part number fitted to the position code, position code status and its type are displayed. The level at which the part number and the position code occur in the aircraft configuration hierarchy is also displayed in the multiline. Figure 1 illustrates the method in which the level codes are generated in the aircraft configuration hierarchy.
The system indicates whether the part number can be used in a cargo aircraft and whether the part can be used in the aircraft that can fly in the reduced vertical separation minimum limit (RVSM). The zone and the position formula number where the position code physically exists, and the ATA chapter number that denotes the system to which the position code belongs, is also displayed.
You can also view the document that contains the drawing related to the part.
