This page allows you to view the details of the component configuration. Tell me more

The “View Component Configuration Information” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following details in the “Component Details” group box:

Component #

The component ID for which the configuration details are displayed.

Part #

The part to which the component belongs.

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the configuration details of the component in the “Component Configuration” group box. Details such as "Position Code", "Part #", "Part Description", "Part Serial #" and "Component ID" are displayed in the form of the tree structure.

The system displays the following details in the “Component Configuration Details” group box:

Revision #

The revision number of the component configuration for which the details are displayed.

Config Status

The status of the component configuration.

Position Code

The position code associated to the component configuration, for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 25).

Part #

The part number associated to the position code, for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40).

NHA

The next higher assembly, or the parent component for the part associated to the position code (Alphanumeric, 40).

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs (Alphanumeric, 16).

Display Level

Use the drop-down list box to select the level code of the component ID and position code combination, for which the configuration details must be viewed. The system lists all the levels of the component configuration and sets this field to the first level by default.

Note: If all the fields are left blank in the “Display Filter” group box, the system displays all the child level configurations of the selected component configuration.

The system displays the following details in the “Component Configuration Details” multiline on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Level Code

The level code of the component ID and the position code in the component configuration hierarchy.

Position Code

The position code associated to the component configuration.

Attachment Status

Indicates the attachment status of the position code. The system displays one of the following option:

  • “Attached” – Indicates that component is attached to the position code.

  • “Removed” – Indicates that currently no component is attached to the position code.

  • “Unknown” – Indicates that the serial number of the component attached to the position code is unknown.

  • “New” – Indicates that the position code is newly created.

  • “Error” – Indicates that the component attached to the position code, is different from the actual intended component.

The system displays “None” if no component is attached to the position code. This option can be displayed only during initial configuration of the aircraft.

Position Code Status

The status of the position code, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Part #

The part number of the component associated to the position code.

Component Mandatory

The system displays “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether fixing of the component is mandatory or not in the position code.

Position Type

The type of the position code, which could be “Engine” or “APU” or “Landing gear” or “Others”.

Component #

The child component associated to the position code.

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Date Of Attachment

The date on which the component was attached to the position code.

Time Of Attachment

The time at which the component was attached to the position code.

Part Categorization

The category of the part, which could be “Cargo” or “RVSM” or “MEL”, to which the child component belongs.

Zone #

The zone associated to the position code.

If the zone information is not already defined for the position code, then the zone associated to the NHA of the part is displayed.

ATA #

The ATA chapter associated to the position code.

Base Part #

The base part number of the part to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The description of the part.

Drawing #

The document number identifying the drawing that depicts the part details.

File Name

The file name of the document.

  • Click the hyperlinked file name to view the file details.

Lower Level Exists?

The system displays “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether child level configurations exist with respect to the child component.

The system displays the following field in the "Document Attachment Details" group box:

 File Name

The file name of the document attached to the component configuration

Zoom facility available

  • Click the hyperlinked file name to view the file details.

Initialization File Name

The file name of the document that contains component assembly details.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Revised by

The name of the user who revised the component configuration.

Revision Date

The date on which the component configuration was revised.

Approved by

The name of the user who approved the component configuration.

Approved Date

The date on which the component configuration was approved.

Comments

Any remark pertaining to the changes made in the component configuration.

Viewing component configuration information – An overview

View Component Configuration  -  A summary of the activity

You can view the details of the component configuration in this page. You are also provided with the option of viewing the details of all the child level configurations of the selected component configuration. You can carry out a search based on the position code, part number, the next higher assembly, ATA chapter number and the level code. The details of the child level configuration such as the level code, position code, position code status, part number, position code type, component ID, serial number, date of attachment, time of attachment, part categorization, zone, ATA chapter number, base part number, part description, drawing number and document path are displayed. You can view the details of all the child level configurations of the selected component configuration. You can carry out a search based on the position code, part number, the next higher assembly, ATA chapter number and the level code. The details of the child level configuration are displayed based on the search criteria entered.

The system displays the child level configuration in the “Component Configuration Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered.
