Viewing warranty reference document details for failed parts

Using this tab, you can view the warranty document details for failed parts.

Select the “Warranty Ref. Documents” tab in the “View Failure and Expense Information” page.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Agreement Type	The type of the agreement through which the failed part is declared as claimable. The system displays one of the following options: “Purchase Order”, “Repair Order”, “Part Warranty Agreement”, “Component Warranty Reference” and “Aircraft Warranty Agreement”.
Agreement #	The code identifying the agreement.
Agreement Date	The agreement date of the claim.
Supplier #	The number identifying the supplier against whom the claim is raised.
Supplier Name	The name of the supplier against whom the claim is raised.
Claim Against	The method in which the failed part is claimed. The system displays one of the following options: No – Indicates that the failed part is not claimed against the Agreement type specified. Direct – Indicates that the failed part is claimed directly from the supplier of the part against the agreement type specified. Backstop – Indicates that the failed part is claimed from the original equipment manufacturer against the agreement type specified.
Notify Failure before	The number of days before which the failure of the part must be notified to the supplier.
Warranty Start Date	The start date of the warranty.
Warranty Expiry Date	The expiry date of the warranty.
Failed Date	The date on which the part has failed.
Warranty Parameter	The parameter based on which the warranty on the component is tracked.
Warranty Parameter Value	The value of the parameter based on which the warranty is tracked, till which the warranty is applicable.
Failed Parameter Value	The value of the parameter at the time of the removal of the part.
Remarks	Any additional remarks pertaining to the warranty reference details.
File Name	The name of the file that contains the warranty reference document details.

Select the “View File” link provided below the multiline to view the file details.
Select the “View Purchase Order” link below the multiline to view the purchase order details.
Select the “View Repair Order” link below the multiline to view the repair order details.
Select the “View Component Warranty” link below the multiline to view the component warranty details.
Select the “View Pat Warranty Agreement” link below the multiline to view the part warranty agreement details.
