The system displays the following fields in the “Employee Details” multiline, if employees have already been assigned.

The system displays the following field:

From Date

The date from which the employee is assigned to the CWO or CWO - task (Date Format). Mandatory. Ensure that the date entered is not earlier than the start date of the CWO - task or CWO. If you have not assigned employees then this field contains the planned start date of the CWO by default.

If the employee code gets repeated in the multiline, then ensure that the assignment dates entered for the employee do not overlap.

Duration / Day

Data entry in this field is mandatory when the value entered in “From Date” is defined as a ‘Holiday’ in the ‘Rota Schedule’ associated to the employee or as “Off – Days” in the ‘Standard Work Calendar’ of “Common Master” business component.

Note: If you leave this field blank, the system retrieves the ‘Available Hours’ of the employee from the employee calendar of the “Employee Information” business component. The available hours can be retrieved from the ‘Standard Work Calendar’ of “Common Master” business component.

The system displays the following fields:

Skill Code

The code identifying the skill to which the employee belongs.

Assigned Hours

The total number of hours for which the employee is already assigned to the CWO or CWO - task.

You can delete an employee who has been assigned to the work order. When you delete an employee, ensure that the employee actuals have not been reported in the “Component Work Reporting” business component.

The system assigns the employees to the selected CWO - task or the Component work order. The difference between the range of “From” and “To” dates is calculated and multiplied with the value entered in the “Duration / Day” field, to find out the currently assigned hours. The assigned hours is then added to the already assigned hours (if any) to calculate the total number of hours for which the employee is assigned.

The system ensures that there is no leave approved for any time duration or date falling within the date and time range required for performing the work order, if the current business component interacts with the “Employee Information” business component.
