Reviewing/Publishing Roster
Select “Review/Publish Roster” link under the “Roster Management” business component.
The “Review/Publish” page appears.
Select one of the following radio buttons:
Review / Update |
Select this radio button to review/update the shift/duty roster. |
View |
Select this radio button to view the shift/duty roster. |
Enter the following fields in the header section:
Action |
Use the drop-down list box to select the action of the shift/duty roster. The system lists the options ‘Review/Update Plan’, ‘Review/Update Actual’ and ‘Review Plan Vs Actual’. The system displays the value ‘Review/Update Plan’, by default on launch of the page. |
Enter the following fields in the “Roster Details” group box:
Roster #/Rev. # |
The number identifying the roster and revision of the shift/duty. |
The system displays the following fields:
Description |
The description of the Roster #/Rev #. |
Status |
The status of the Roster #/Rev #. |
Effective From |
The start date from which the Roster is effective. |
Roster Level |
The level of the roster which could be ‘Roster Group’, ‘Work Center’ or ‘Span of Control’. |
Schedule # |
The schedule # generated against the Roster #/Rev #. |
Category |
The category of the Roster #/Rev #. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user status of the Roster #/Rev #. The system lists all the ‘active’ user statuses defined under the Entity ‘Roster Management’ and Quick Code Type ‘User Status’ in the “Manage Quick Code” activity of the “Common Master” business component. |
Enter the following fields in the “Additional Search” group box:
Employee |
The name of the employee. |
Shift/Duty |
Use the drop-down list box to select the shift/duty. The system lists all the ‘active’ shift/duty # defined in the “Maintain Shift/Duty” activity. |
Job Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to select the job classification of the Roster #/Rev #. The system lists all the ‘active’ job classification defined in the “HRMS Components” business components. |
Entity |
Use the drop-down to specify the entity based on which the Roster #/Rev # is to be retrieved. |

Use the drop-down list box to select the value based on the option selected in the first drop-down list box. |
Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the Roster #/Rev # details based on the search criteria entered.
Select the “Roster Details” tab to review/update the roster template details.
Select the “Roster Summary” tab to review/update the roster schedule details.
