In this activity you can associate the part numbers with the maintenance processes. Tell me more.

The “Set Maintenance Process for Part #” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. 

Maintenance Process

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance process. The system displays the following option:  

 
  • Hard - Time – Select this option to associate the part with the “Hard –Time” maintenance process.

 
  • On - Condition – Select this option to associate the part with the “On-Condition” maintenance process.

 
  •  Condition Monitoring – Select this option to associate the part with the “Condition Monitoring” maintenance process.

The system sets the field as “Hard-Time” by default.

Part #

The number identifying the part that has to be associated with the maintenance process (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the part numbers that are similar to the value entered here. The part number should be a valid part number of the type “Component” and should be unique to the multiline.

Note: The part number should not have been associated with another maintenance process.

In the event of modifying an already associated part number, the system displays an error message. Also, to delete an existing part number, check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the Delete icon.

The system displays the following:

Part Description

The textual description of the part involved in the maintenance process

Remarks

General comments or remarks on associating the part with the maintenance process (Alphanumeric, 255).

The system displays the following:

Updated Date

The date on which the part was last associated with the maintenance process.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the part belongs.

Note: Ensure that at least one part is entered in the multiline.
