Selecting component for viewing the component history
This page allows you to search and select a component for viewing the parameter history. Tell me more.
Select the “View Component Parameter History” link under the “Component History” business component.
The “Select Component” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the component number for which the details must be viewed:
Component # |
The number identifying the component for which you need to view the parameter details (Alphanumeric, 90). |
Select the “View Consumption & Range Parameter” link, to view the consumption and range parameter values of the component.
Select the “View Technical & Attribute Parameter” link, to view the technical and attribute parameter values of the component.
Select the “View Component Maintenance History” link, to view the maintenance history of the component.
To search for a component
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a component. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Component # |
The number of the component for which you wish to view the parameter history (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose numbers are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components defined in the system. |
Part # |
The part number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components whose part numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve the components irrespective of their part number. |
Serial # |
The serial number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components whose serial numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve the components irrespective of their serial number. |
Part Description |
The description of the part for which you wish to view the parameter history (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose part description is similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components irrespective of the part description. Zoom facility available. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the components whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here. |
Component Family # |
The component family for which you need to view the details (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the component family number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components belonging to the family specified here. |
Part Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to select the part classification of the component. The system lists “Engine”, “Landing Gear”, “APU” and “Others”, as options. The system retrieves all the components belonging to the part classification selected here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components irrespective of the part classification. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the components defined in the system.
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the components.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select a component for viewing the parameter or maintenance history.

Select the “View Technical & Attribute Parameter” link, to view the technical and attribute parameter values of the component.
Select the “View Consumption & Range Parameter” link, to view the consumption and range parameter values of the component.
Select the “View Component Maintenance History” link, to view the maintenance history of the component.
Selecting a component for viewing the parameter history – An overview
This page allows you to search and select a component for viewing the parameter history. If you know the component number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the component ID, part number, serial number, component description, ATA number, component family number and part classification of the component.
Details of the component such as component number, component description, part number, serial number, ATA number, component family number and part classification are displayed, from the “Configuration” business component.
