Viewing the consumption and range parameter details of a component

Unified Glossary

Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to view the consumption and range parameters that are defined for the component.  Tell me more.

The “View Consumption & Range History” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Component Details” group box:

Component #

The component selected in the previous page.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Serial #

The serial number to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Zoom facility available.

From Date

The starting date from which you need to view the consumption and range parameters of the component (Date Format). Ensure this date is equal to or less than the “To Date”.

Note: Leave this field blank, to retrieve the consumption and range parameters of all components till “To Date”.

To Date

The ending date till which you need to view the consumption and range parameters of the component (Date Format). Mandatory. Ensure this date is equal to or greater than the “To Date” and not greater than the current server date.

Note: Leave this field blank, to retrieve the consumption and range parameters of all components from the “From Date” till the current server date.

The system displays the following details in the “CWO Details” multiline:

Parameter

The parameter attached to the component.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Parameter Type

The type of the parameter, which could be “Consumption” or “Range”.

Life Parameter

The system displays “Yes” or “No”, to indicate whether the parameter is a life parameter or not. The life parameter is the consumption parameter that indicates the life of the equipment.

Parameter Source

The parameter source from which the value of the parameter is updated. The source could be one of the following :

  • Flight Log - indicates that the parameter value is updated from the flight log.

  • Manual - indicates that the parameter value is updated manually.

  • Calculated - indicates that the parameter value is updated based on the formula associated to the parameter. This formula will contain mathematical operations to be performed on other related parameters. When the participating parameters are updated, the formula based parameter is automatically updated.

  • Composite - indicates that the parameter value is updated either manually or based on the formula associated to the parameter.

Present Value

The present value of the parameter.

As Of Date

The date on which the parameter value was recorded.

As Of Time

The time at which the parameter value was recorded.

Ultimate Life Value

The value identifying the life of the component, if the consumption parameter is set as a life parameter.

Rem. Life

The remaining life of the component. The value is calculated as the difference between the value specified in the “Ultimate Life Value” field and the “Present Value” field.

Since Overhaul

The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component since its last overhaul in the shop.

Since Repair

The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component since its last repair in the shop.

Since Inspection

The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component since its last inspection in the shop.

Since Last Shop Visit

The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component since its last visit to the shop.
