Aircraft Maintenance Planning - An Overview

The daily planning report displays the execution plan details for a work center. The report provides a detailed display of the plan start date, available man hours, total planned hours, balance hours, percentage of planned hours, priority wise planned hours, etc. You can also acquire the details like package number, aircraft against which the tasks are planned, package hours, task details, etc. This detailed report enables determining the actual load on the work center and planning tasks on the work center, if required.

You can specify the criteria based on which the panning details are to be displayed in the report. You can specify one of the planning elements like aircraft model, customer, field base, planner group, and sub fleet to retrieve the planning details of the aircraft that belongs to the selected planning element.

You can specify the date range, work center for which details are to be retrieved and report display option, and also provide the discrepancy item, engineering item or maintenance program item that needs to be displayed in the report.

Process parameter dependency: The process parameter ‘Display only released Packages?’ under the entity type "Reports" and the entity "Daily Planning Report" in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master will decide whether only packages released for execution will be retrieved in the Daily Planning report. If the process parameter is 1/Yes, packages in the status 'Planned', 'In-Progress' and 'Completed' will be retrieved in the report. Conversely, packages in the status 'Fresh', 'Planned', 'In-Progress' and 'Completed' will be retrieved, if the process parameter is 0/No.

Note:

Display of planner comments for packaged tasks in the report is determined by the value set for the process parameter “Display Comments?” under the entity type “Reports” and entity “Daily Planning Report” in the Define Process Parameters activity of Common Master. If the parameter value is ‘1’, the report will show comments. Alternatively, the parameter value ‘0’ will not display any comments. 

If multiple comments have been recorded for a task, they will be displayed in the chronological order.
