Associating shift /datewise availability/holiday definition

Select the “Associate Shift / Datewise Availability/ Holiday Definition” link in the “Select Work Center #” page of the “Associate Work Center Attributes” activity”.
The “Associate Shift / Datewise Availability / Holiday Definition" page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Work Center # |
Use the drop-down list to specify the work center to which the shift must be associated. The system lists all the work centers in “Active” status and of Work Center Class set as “Execution” in the current business component. Do not leave this field blank. |
From Date |
The start date from which you require to record / view the associated shift/ date wise employee availability details (Date Format). |
To Date |
The end date until which you require to record / view the associated shift/ date wise employee availability details (Date Format). |
The system displays the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the work center details.
Note: The system retrieves the Shift code and Datewise availability (including Skill association details) details mapped for the Work Center selected in the header.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Shift Details” tab to record/ edit the shift details.
Select the “Datewise Availability” tab to record/ edit the date wise availability details.
Select the “Holiday Definition” tab to associate a holiday master to the work center.
Select the “Shift/Duty Pattern” tab to map shift/duty patterns to the work center.
Select the “Associate Skill Quantity to Work Center Shifts” link at the bottom of the page to associate skills to work center shifts.
Associating shifts to work center – An overview
This page allows you to associate the shifts to the work center. You can also view the details of the shifts that have been already associated to the work center.
You can select the work center for which the shifts are to be associated. You can associate the shifts to the work center by specifying the shift code and the date range during which the shift remains effective to the work center. You can also re-define the association between the shifts and the work centers.
