Associating skills to work center shift

This page allows you to associate the skills to the work center shift. Tell me more.

Select the “Associate Skill Quantity To Work Center” link from the “Associate Shifts to Work Center” page.

The “Associate Skill Quantity to Work Center” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Work Center And Shift Details” group box:

Work Center #	The number identifying the work center.
Work Center Description	The textual description of the work center.

Enter the following field in the “Work Center And Shift Details” multiline:

Shift Code

Use the drop-down list box to specify the shift to which the skills must be associated. The system lists all the shifts associated to the work center in the “Associate Shifts to Work Center” page.

The system displays the following fields:

Shift	The textual description of the shift.
Start Time	The starting time of the shift.
End Time	The ending time of the shift.
Effective from	The date from which the shift is effective for the work center.
Effective to	The date till which the shift is effective for the work center.

Click the “Get details” pushbutton to retrieve the skill details.
Enter the following field in the “Skill Quantity Information” multiline:

Skill Code

The code identifying the skill that must be associated to the work center shift (Alphanumeric, 10). The skill code entered here must be a valid code as defined in the “HR Setup” business component.

Help facility available.

Quantity

The total number of employees possessing the skill. This must be a positive integer value.

Man Hours

The total available man hours per day for the period between the From Date and To Date. Mandatory. This must be a positive integer value.

The system displays the following field in the “Skill Quantity Information” multiline:

Skill	The textual description of the skill.
Skill Type	The type of skill.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the record.

Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the skills selected in the multiline.
Click the “Associate Skill Quantity” pushbutton to associate skills to the work center shift.

Associating skills to work center shift – An overview

This page allows you to associate the skills to the work center shift. You can also view the details of the skills that have been already associated to the work center shift.

You can select the shift to which the skills are to be associated. You can associate the skills to the work center shift by specifying the skill code and the total number of employees possessing the specified skill. You can also re-define the association between the skills and the shifts.
