This section enables you to view the tasks on hold, which can be released.

The system displays the followings fields in the multiline:

Exe. Order Type

The type of the execution document which could be AME or SWO.

Exec. Order #

The number identifying the execution order.

Seq #

The sequence number of the task.

Task #

The unique code identifying the task for which work hold is to be released.

Task Description

A brief description of the task for which work hold is to be released.

Customer Order #

The number identifying the customer order associated with the task for which work hold is to be released.

Hold Code

The hold code associated to the hold. More..

Hold Comments

Any additional information pertaining to the hold.

From Date & Time

The date and time at which the record was created.

To Date & Time

The date and time of the release for a particular hold.

Duration

The time period during which the task is put on held duration or delay duration. (Integer). The duration is calculated as the difference of ‘From Date & Time’ and ‘To Date & Time’. The value entered here must be a positive integer.

Time Unit

Use the drop-down list box and select the time unit as “Hours”, “Minutes” or “Days”. Data selection in this field is mandatory, if the duration is specified.

By default the system leaves the field blank.

Release Comments

Any comments related to the release made on a particular hold.

Delayed?

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which the turn around time is calculated. The turn around time is defined as the time spent on each task.

  • Yes – Select this option to indicate that the duration in which task is put on hold, may not considered for calculating the turn around time.

  • No – Select this option to indicate that the duration is not considered for calculating the turn around time.

The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Response Comments

Any comments related to the response for a hold.

The system displays the followings fields in the multiline:

Hold Category

The category of the hold code.

Hold Level

The level of the hold put on the task or work order which could be task level, execution order level and customer order level.

Released By

The code identifying the person responsible for releasing the work hold.

The system displays the followings fields in the multiline:

Customer #

The number identifying the customer associated with the hold.

Customer Name

The name of the customer associated with the hold.

Order Description

The textual description of the customer order.

Job Type

The job type of the work order which could be “Engine', 'Component', 'Piece Part', 'Make', 'Facility' , 'Project' or 'Miscellaneous'.

Created Date & Time

The date and time at which the record was created.

Last Modified Date & Time

The date and time at which the record was last modified.

Note: Ensure that at least one record is selected in the multiline.

If Exe. Order Type for is set as "A/C Maint. Exe. Ref. #" for the selected record, if the Aircraft Reg. # corresponding to the entered Exe. Ref. # is offline in main base, ensure that:

  1. Source of Exe. Ref. # is set as "Online" (or)

  2. Source of Exe. Ref. # is set as "Offline"; status of Exe. Ref. # is "Completed" and ‘Closure of Completed Packages’ is set as “Online” in the “Configurator” business component.

If Exe. Order Type for the selected record is set as "A/C Maint. Exe. Ref. #", ensure that the Aircraft Reg. # corresponding to A/C Maint. Exe. Ref. # is offline.

The system allows release of holds only on:

  1. Offline packages in “Planned” / “In-progress” status.

  2. Offline packages in “Completed” status having data transferred flag set as "No" and ‘Closure of Completed Packages’ set as "Online" in the “Configurator” business component.

  3. Offline packages in “Completed” status with 'Closure of Completed Packages' option set as “Offline”.
