Entering work area or zone information for the non-standard task
This page allows you to enter work area or zone information for non-standard task. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Work Area or Zone Details” link at the bottom of the main page.
The “Edit Work Area / Zone Information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Task Details” group box.
Task Applicability |
Indicates whether the task is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”. |
Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the aircraft model on which the task can be performed |
Task # |
The task for which the work area or zone details have to be specified. |
Task Class |
The classification identifying whether the task is a standard task or non-standard task |
Task Description |
The textual description of the task. |
Enter the following:
Work Area / Zone |
Use the drop-down list box to specify where the task has to be carried out, whether “Work Area” or “Zone”. The system sets the field to “Work Area” by default. |
Click the “Get Details” push button to retrieve the work area or zone details that are already defined for the task.
Enter the following field to modify the existing details or add new work areas or zones for the task in the “Work Area / Zone Details” multiline:
Work Area / Zone # |
The work area or the zone where the non-standard task must be executed (Alphanumeric, 15). |

The textual description of the work area or zone (Alphanumeric, 150) |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the work area or zone for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the work area or zones selected in the multiline..
Click the “Edit Work Area / Zone” pushbutton to update the details.
Entering work area or zone information for the non-standard task– An overview
In this page, you can add or modify the work area or the zone where the non-standard task has to be executed. Work area is the physical location where the work has to be carried out. This can be inside or outside the aircraft. Zones are the different areas inside the aircraft. You can enter work area or zone number and the corresponding description.
