This page allows you to enter part requirement details for non-standard task. Tell me more.

The “Edit Part Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Task Details” group box:

Task Applicability

Indicates whether the task is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the aircraft model on which the task can be performed

Task #

The task for which the part details have to be specified.

Task Class

The classification identifying whether the task is a standard task or non-standard task

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

 

Zoom facility available

Part #

The part required for executing the non- standard task (Alphanumeric, 40). The part should have already been defined in the "Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The part number should be unique within the multiline.

Part Description

The textual description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150)

Part Type

The type of the part (Alphanumeric, 25)

UOM

The unit of measurement for the part. (Alphanumeric, 10). The unit of measurement must be a valid UOM for the part defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component or you can enter any valid UOM defined for the part in the “Maintain UOM Conversions” of “Part Administration” business component.

Est. Quantity

The quantity of part required to complete the task (Numeric). If the part is specified, data entry in this field is mandatory.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Entering parts information for the non - standard task – An overview

You can add or modify the details of parts required for executing the non-standard task in this page. You can enter the part number, the part type, part description, the unit of measurement and estimated quantity. The part details are updated and the system sets the last modified date to the current server date.
