This page allows you to retrieve the details of the work units that are already defined. You can carry out the search using the work unit number, its description, applicability, type and organizational unit description. Details such as organizational unit description, work unit, work unit description, revision number, work unit applicability, work unit category and work unit type are displayed.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Click the "Primary Search Criteria" tab to enter the primary search criteria details.
Click the "Additional Search Criteria" tab to enter the additional search criteria details.
Click the "Periodicity Based Search Criteria" tab to enter the periodicity based search criteria.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
If the “Part #” field is entered, the system retrieves all the work packages, that are effective for the part, from the “Component Maintenance Program” or “Aircraft Maintenance Program” business components.
The system retrieves the aircraft work packages or component work packages that are in the “Active” status, from the “Maintenance Planning” business component or “Component Maintenance Planning” business component.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
The system retrieves the work units in the “Search Results” multiline based on the specified “Primary Search Criteria”, “Additional Search Criteria” and “Periodicity Based Search Criteria”.
Work Unit Type |
The type of the work unit, which could be “Task”, “Std. Procedure”, “Comp. Work Package”, Non-Standard Task”, or “Aircraft Work Package”. |
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the work unit. |
Revision # |
The work unit revision number that helps in tracing the changes made to the work unit. |
Work Unit Desc |
The description of the work unit. |
Base Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the base aircraft model identified for the work unit. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter number to which the work unit belongs. |
Operations Type |
The operation type of the maintenance activity. |
Work Unit Applicability |
The applicability of the work unit. |
Customer Task Card # |
The number identifying the customer task card. |
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Note: The system leaves the “Customer Task Card #”, “Customer #” and “Customer Name” fields blank, if the “Display Option” is set as “Internal Work Unit Wise”.
If the “Display Option” is Customer Task Card Wise”, then the system retrieves the “Customer Task Card #”, “Customer #” and “Customer Name”, for the work unit number and work unit type combination from the “Edit Customer Task Master List” activity of the “Customer” business component.

Org. Unit # |
The organizational unit in which the work unit is defined. |

The description of the organizational unit in which the work unit is defined. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the task.
