Primary search criteria for help on work unit
This tab allows you to enter the primary search criteria for the work units.
Enter the following in the “Primary Search Criteria” group box to search for a work unit.
Work Unit Applicability |
Use the drop-down list box to select the entity for which the work unit to be retrieved, is applicable. The system provides the options “Aircraft”, “Engine” and “Component”. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve details of work units irrespective of their applicability. The system leaves the field blank by default. If the “Work Unit Applicability” is selected as “Aircraft”, then ignore the option “Component Work Package” in the “Work Unit Type” field. If the “Work Unit Applicability” is selected as “Component” or “Engine”, then ignore the option “Aircraft Work Package” in the “Work Unit Type”. |
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the work unit is associated (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units with the aircraft model number entered here. |
Work Unit Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work unit. The drop-down list s Task and Non-Standard Task. The system displays “Task” by default. The system retrieves the work units of the type you specify here. |
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the work unit (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units with the number entered here. |
Work Unit Desc |
The description of the work unit to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units with descriptions that are similar to the description entered here. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center primarily responsible for executing the work unit (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units for the work center specified here. |
Display Option |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the display option based on which the work unit is retrieved. The system lists the following options:
The system sets this field to “Internal Work Unit Wise” by default. |
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the customer number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the work units associated to the customer number entered here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
To proceed, carry out the following:
Select the “Additional Search Criteria” tab in the main page.
Select the “Periodicity Based Search Criteria” tab in the main page.
