Inquire Engineering Service Request Status – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to view the Engineering Service Request (ESR) and the Engineering Advice Notes (EAN), which have been released as responses for earlier requests. You can search and select an ESR and view the details of the EAN released for it. In case the released EAN does not give sufficient clarification, you can decline the EAN. The status of the ESR would then be updated to “Response Declined”.
The “View ES Request Status” page allows you to search and select the ESR for which you want to view the corresponding Engineering Advice Note (EAN). The “View ES Request” page allows you to view the details of the selected ESR. The “View Engg. Advice Note” page allows you to view the EAN details of the selected ESR. The “View References” page allows you to view the details of the reference documents. The “View Aircraft Effectivity” page allows you to view the aircraft details, if the EAN has been raised for an aircraft. The “View Part Effectivity” page allows you to view the part details, if the EAN has been raised for a component or an engine. The “View Serial # Effectivity” page allows you to view the serial number details of the component or engine. The “View Associated Service Request” page allows you to view the ESRs associated to the selected EAN.

What you can do in this activity
View reference document for EAN
You can decline an engineering advice note in this page. The status of the ESR after the decline of the EAN will be updated to “Response Declined”.
Click the “Decline EAN” pushbutton to decline the EAN selected in the multiline
Select the ESR in the multiline for which the details are to be viewed.
Use the “View ES Request” page to view the ESR details.
Use the “View Engg. Advice Note” page to view the to view the engineering advice note for the selected ESR.

View reference document for EAN
This page allows you to view the reference document details of the EAN. Details such as the type of the reference document, the identification number of the document and remarks pertaining to it are displayed along with the engineering note number, its revision number and its subject.
Use the “View References” page to view the reference document details.
Use the “View Aircraft Effectivity” page to view the aircraft details, if the EAN has been raised for an aircraft.
Use the “View Part Effectivity” page to view the part details, if the EAN has been raised for a component or an engine.
Use the “View Serial # Effectivity” page to view the serial number details of the component or engine
You can view the various engineering service requests (ESR) associated to the engineering advice note.
Use the “View Associated Service Request” page to view the ESRs associated to the selected EAN.
