Manage Cabin Configuration – A summary of the activity
Aircraft configuration refers to the internal arrangement or layout of an aircraft, in that, Cabin Configuration includes all the items associated within an aircraft cabin, the seats, doors, galleys and passenger facilities, equipment like the Inflight entertainment system, oxygen tanks and so on. An optimum and efficient passenger cabin is designed to provide highest level of comfort to the passengers with emphasis on safety and reliability. Managing and minimizing defects associated with the cabin configuration is the key to achieving such efficiency.
This activity enables the tracking of such defects or discrepancies occurring inside the aircraft cabin for a particular configuration pertaining to an aircraft model. In other words, this activity enables the tracking of the entire cabin configuration, also providing a visual model to aide in management of defects/discrepancies arising thereof.
