To make a request

This section enables you to create a new request. 

Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category to which the request to be initiated belongs.  The system lists the options: “Commercials”, “Engineering”, “Finance”, “Supply Chain”, and “Tech. Records”.

Title

A descriptive heading of where the request to be initiated belongs.

Ref. Doc Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the reference document type relating to the request to be initiated.

Ref. Doc #

In the editable box provided alongside, enter a number corresponding to the reference document type selected. The system retrieves all the documents with Ref. # similar to the number entered here.

Response Expected From

Use the drop-down list box to specify the personnel who is required to respond to the request.

Response Expected By

The name of the employee, identifying the person to whom a response is due to be provided.

Expected Response Date

The date within which a response is expected for the request initiated. Mandatory.

Ensure that the date specified in this field is a later date.

File Name

The name of the file attached which is associated to the request initiated.

Help facility available

Description

Description

Textual description of the request which you wish to initiate. Mandatory.

The system updates the status of the request as “Awaiting Response”.
