Basics of using a typical web page

This page allows you to select an aircraft to be viewed. If you know the registration number of the aircraft to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the aircraft registration number, aircraft model number, status or the organizational unit description. The details of the selected aircraft, such as its registration number, manufacturer serial number, tab number, tail number, model to which the aircraft belongs and the status, are displayed in the multiline.

The “Select Aircraft” page appears.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). The search retrieves those aircraft that have registration # similar to the value entered here.

Alternately, you can enter Nose # in the field. The smart search retrieves aircraft with the nose # similar to that specified in the field.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft registration numbers that are similar to the values entered here. The search retrieves those aircraft that have registration # similar to the value entered here.

Alternately, you can enter Nose # in the field. The smart search retrieves aircraft with the nose # similar to that specified in the field.

Record Status

The status of the aircraft to be viewed, which could be “Under Creation”, “Active”, “Inactive” or "Frozen". The system retrieves all the aircraft that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of aircraft irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default.

Aircraft Model #

Enter the aircraft model number to which the aircraft to be viewed, belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft belonging to the models having values that are similar to the value entered here.

Org. Unit Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit for which you wish to view the aircraft details. Leave the field blank to retrieve all aircraft irrespective of the organization unit. The system displays the organizational unit to which you have logged into by default.

Customer #

The number identifying the customer (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the customer number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft associated to the customer number entered here.

Customer Name

The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the customer name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft associated to the customer name specified here.

Note: The system lists all aircraft in the multiline, if all the search criteria fields are left blank.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft.

Manufacturer Serial #

The MSN or the manufacturer’s serial number given to the aircraft by the manufacturer at the time of production.

Variable Tab #

The tab number of the aircraft.

Nose  #

The nose number of the aircraft.

Aircraft Model #

The model number to which the aircraft belongs.

Record Status

The status of the aircraft, which can be “Active”, “Inactive”, “Under Creation” or "Frozen".

Customer #

The number identifying the customer.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.
