Selecting aircraft for viewing
This page allows you to select an aircraft to be viewed. If you know the registration number of the aircraft to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the aircraft registration number, aircraft model number, status or the organizational unit description. The details of the selected aircraft, such as its registration number, manufacturer serial number, tab number, tail number, model to which the aircraft belongs and the status, are displayed in the multiline.
Select the “View Aircraft Record” link under the “Aircraft” business component.
The “Select Aircraft” page appears.
Enter the following field, if you know the aircraft registration number for which the details must be viewed:
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). The search retrieves those aircraft that have registration # similar to the value entered here. Alternately, you can enter Nose # in the field. The smart search retrieves aircraft with the nose # similar to that specified in the field. |
Select the “View Aircraft Record” link at the bottom of the page to view the aircraft information.
Select the “View Technical & Attribute Parameters” link at the bottom of the page to view the technical and attribute parameters defined for the aircraft.
Select the “View Consumption & Range Parameters” link at the bottom of the page to view the consumption and range parameters defined for the aircraft.
Select the “View Aircraft Maintenance Summary” link at the bottom of the page to view the last major maintenance activity that was performed and the next maintenance activity scheduled for the aircraft.
Select the “View Notes” link at the bottom of the page to view any additional notes entered for the aircraft.
Enter the following filter criteria to search for an aircraft. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft registration numbers that are similar to the values entered here. The search retrieves those aircraft that have registration # similar to the value entered here. Alternately, you can enter Nose # in the field. The smart search retrieves aircraft with the nose # similar to that specified in the field. |
Record Status |
The status of the aircraft to be viewed, which could be “Under Creation”, “Active”, “Inactive” or "Frozen". The system retrieves all the aircraft that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of aircraft irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Aircraft Model # |
Enter the aircraft model number to which the aircraft to be viewed, belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft belonging to the models having values that are similar to the value entered here. |
Org. Unit Name |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit for which you wish to view the aircraft details. Leave the field blank to retrieve all aircraft irrespective of the organization unit. The system displays the organizational unit to which you have logged into by default. |
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the customer number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft associated to the customer number entered here. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the customer name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft associated to the customer name specified here. |
Note: The system lists all aircraft in the multiline, if all the search criteria fields are left blank.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The MSN or the manufacturer’s serial number given to the aircraft by the manufacturer at the time of production. |
Variable Tab # |
The tab number of the aircraft. |
Nose # |
The nose number of the aircraft. |
Aircraft Model # |
The model number to which the aircraft belongs. |
Record Status |
The status of the aircraft, which can be “Active”, “Inactive”, “Under Creation” or "Frozen". |
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Check the box in the “Select “ column of the multiline to select the aircraft for which you wish to view the details.
To proceed carry out the following
Select the “View Aircraft Record” link to view the aircraft details.
Select the “View Technical & Attribute Parameters” link at the bottom of the page to view the technical and attribute parameters defined for the aircraft.
Select the “View Consumption & Range Parameters” link at the bottom of the page to view the consumption and range parameters defined for the aircraft.
