Viewing the consumption and range parameters of the aircraft
This page allows you to view the consumption and range parameters that have been defined for the aircraft. Tell me more.
Select the “View Consumption & Range Parameters” link at the bottom of the main page.
The “View Consumption & Range Parameters” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
Date & Time Format |
The format in which the date and time fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Aircraft Details” group box:
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft for which you wish to view the consumption and range parameter details. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The MSN or the manufacturer’s serial number given to the aircraft by the manufacturer at the time of production. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Parameter Details” multiline:
Parameter |
The parameter associated to the aircraft. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter, which can be “Consumption” or “Range”. |
Life Parameter |
The system displays “Yes” if the consumption parameter has been identified as the life parameter. Life Parameter is a consumption parameter that indicates the life of the equipment. |
Parameter Source |
The source from which the parameter value is updated. The source can be one of the following: |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Present Value |
The value of the parameter as updated from the parameter source. |
As Of Date |
The date on which the present value of the parameter was updated. |
As Of Time |
The time at which the present value of the parameter was updated. |
Range: From |
The minimum number in the range of values for a range parameter. |
Range:To |
The maximum number in the range of values for a range parameter. |
Average Daily Utilization |
The average daily utilization of the consumption parameter. |
Forecast Factor |
The factor based on which the maintenance activity is forecasted for the consumption parameter. |
Ultimate Life Value |
The value identifying the life of the aircraft, if the consumption parameter has been identified as a life parameter. |
Remaining Life |
The remaining life of the aircraft |
Formula # |
The formula specified for the consumption parameter, based on which the parameter value is calculated. |
Formula Content |
The content of the formula. |
Parameter Description |
The textual description of the parameter. |
Warranty Tracking |
Indicates whether the warranty tracking for the parameter is “Applicable” or “Not Applicable”. |
Parameter Update |
Indicates whether parameter updation is “Mandatory” or “Non-Mandatory” each time when the parameter is updated for the aircraft. |
Update Mode |
The mode on which the parameter value has to be updated which could be one of the following:

Viewing the consumption and range parameters of the aircraft – An overview
Details such as the parameter, its description, unit of measurement, parameter type, source from which the parameter is updated, present value of the parameter and the date and time at which the present value of the parameter was recorded, are displayed. In the case of range parameters, the system displays the starting and the ending value of the range of values obtained by the range parameter. If the parameter is a consumption parameter, the system indicates whether the parameter has been chosen as the life parameter. It also displays the average daily utilization or the forecast factor or the formula id that has been defined for the consumption parameter. If a formula has been defined, the formula content is also displayed.
