Selecting zones for modification

This page enables you to select a zone for modification. Tell me more.

Select the “Edit Zones“ link under the “Aircraft” business component.

The “Select Zone” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the zone number for which the modification has to be done:

Aircraft Model #	Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model number to which the zones are associated. The system lists all the aircraft models defined in the system.
Zone #	The zone number for which the details are to be modified. (Alphanumeric, 15).

Select the “Edit Zone” link displayed alongside to edit the zone information.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a zone. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Aircraft Model #	Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model number to which the zones are associated. The system lists all the aircraft models defined in the system. The system retrieves the zones with the aircraft model selected here.
Zone #	The zone number for which the details are to be modified. The system lists all zones in the multiline whose numbers are similar to the value entered here. (Alphanumeric, 15).
Zone Description	The description of the zone to be modified. The system lists all zones whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. (Alphanumeric, 150).
Category	The category of the zone to be modified. The system lists all zones whose categories are similar to the category entered here. (Alphanumeric, 25).
Status	The status of the zone to be modified, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system lists all zones that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of zones irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default.

Note: If all the above fields are left blank, the system lists all the zones that are created in the organizational unit to which you have logged in.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model number to which the zone is associated
Zone #	The number identifying the zone.
Zone Description	The textual description of the zone.
Category	The category to which the zone belongs.
Status	The status of the zone which could be either “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the hyperlinked zone number in the multiline, to edit the zone details.

Selecting zones for modification – An overview

This option allows you to select a zone to be modified and view its details before modification. If you know the number of the zone to be modified, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the aircraft model number, zone number, description, category or the status. The details of the selected zone, such as zone number, its description, its status and the category are displayed.
