Selecting parameters for modification
This page allows you to select a parameter to be modified. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Parameters” link under the “Aircraft” business component.
The “Select Parameter” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the parameter number for which the modification has to be done:

The parameter number for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Select the “Edit Parameter” link displayed alongside to edit the parameter information.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a parameter. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Parameter |
The number of the parameter for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 40). The system lists all the parameter numbers that are similar to the values entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the parameter to be modified, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system lists all those parameters that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of parameters irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Parameter Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the parameter to be modified, which could be one of the following: “Attribute”, “Consumption”, “Range”, “Technical”. The system lists all those parameters whose type is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all parameters irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system will list all the parameters.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Parameter Description |
The textual description of the parameter. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement. The system fills this field only in the case of “Range” and “Consumption” parameters. |
Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter which could be “Attribute”, “Consumption”, “Range” or “Technical”. |
Formula # |
The formula associated with the parameter. |
Status |
The status of the parameter, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Click the hyperlinked parameter number in the multiline, to edit the parameter details.
Selecting parameters for modification – An overview
This option allows you to select a parameter to be modified and view its details before modification. If you know the parameter number to be modified, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the parameter number, parameter type or the status. The details of the selected parameter, such as its number, description, unit of measurement, formula id and the status are displayed.
