Authorize Asset Proposal – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to search and select an asset proposal for authorization. You can authorize the acquisition proposal and the retirement proposal that are in the “Fresh” status. You can also modify the details of the proposals during the authorization process. The status of the proposal after authorization is updated as “Active”. You can also authorize multiple asset proposals irrespective of whether it is an acquisition proposal or a retirement proposal.
This activity also allows you to return the proposal to the user who has created it for modification. The status of the proposal that has been returned is updated as “Returned”. This proposal can be retrieved for authorization after the modifications have been made.

Authorize acquisition proposal
Authorize acquisition proposal
An acquisition proposal can be authorized if it is in the “Fresh” status. The details of the proposal can also be modified during the authorization process. An acquisition proposal after authorization is updated as “Active”. This proposal remains active till the expiry date that is defined. The details of this proposal cannot be modified any longer.

An acquisition proposal can be authorized if it is in the “Fresh” status. The details of the proposal can also be modified during the authorization process. A retirement proposal after authorization is updated as “Active”. The details of this proposal cannot be modified any longer.

Authorize the proposal.
An acquisition proposal that requires modifications can be returned if the user who authorizes it cannot handle it. The proposal is returned to the user who has created the proposal for modification. The status of the proposal after it has been returned is updated as “Returned”.

Return the proposal.
A retirement proposal that requires modifications is returned to the user who has created it. The status of the proposal after it has been returned is updated as “Returned”.
