Selecting inventory sheet for modification
This page allows you to search and select the inventory sheet for modifying or including asset tags to it. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Inventory Sheet” link under the “Asset Inventory” business component.
The “Select Inventory Sheet” page appears.
Enter the following field if you are aware of the inventory sheet number or carry out the search:
Inventory Sheet No. |
A number identifying the inventory sheet (Alphanumeric, 15). |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the inventory sheet. Data entry in the following fields, are optional.
Inventory Sheet No. From |
The starting number in the range of sheet numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 15). The system lists all the inventory sheets that are greater than the value entered here. |
If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves the inventory sheet, lesser than the value specified in the “To” field. |

To |
The ending number in the range of inventory sheet numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). The system lists all the inventory sheets that are lesser than the value entered here. The number entered here must be greater than the number entered in the “Inventory Sheet No. From” field. |
If this field is left blank and the “Inventory Sheet No. From” entered, then the system retrieves all the inventory sheets greater than the value specified in the “Inventory Sheet No. From” field. |

Sheet Date From |
The starting date in the range of sheet dates from which the inventory sheet details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the inventory sheets that are raised later than this date. |
If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves all the inventory sheets raised earlier than the date specified in the “To” field. The date specified here must be less than the date entered in the “To” field. |

The ending date in the range of inventory sheet dates until which the inventory sheet details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the inventory sheets that are raised earlier than this date. |
If this field is left blank and “Sheet Date From” field is entered, then the system retrieves all the inventory sheets raised later then the date specified in the “Sheet Date From” field. |

Asset Location Code |
A number identifying the asset location with respect to the asset tags included in the inventory sheet (Alphanumeric, 20). This number must be defined in the “Create Asset Location” activity of “Asset Location” business component. |

Asset Class Code |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the code identifying the class to which the asset tag belongs. This is with respect to asset tag included in the inventory sheet. All the asset class defined in the “Create Asset Class” activity of the “Asset Type Definition” business components are displayed in the drop-down list box. The system displays “All” by default. |
Asset Group Code |
A number identifying the group to which the asset tag belongs with respect to asset tags included in the inventory sheet (Alphanumeric, 25). The system retrieves all the inventory sheet, which includes asset tags, which belongs to group specified here. |

Asset Description |
The textual description pertaining to the description (Alphanumeric, 40). Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the * characters. The system retrieves all the inventory sheets, which includes asset tags whose asset description is similar to the value entered here. |
Cost Center |
A code identifying the cost center (Alphanumeric, 10). Enter the cost center in full or specify it partially using the * characters. The system retrieves all the inventory sheets, which include asset tags that have cost centers, equal to or similar to the value entered here. Help facility available. |
Tag No. |
A number identifying the asset tag (Integer). The system retrieves all the inventory sheets, which includes the asset tags, specified here. |

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the details in the multiline.
Note: The system retrieves all the inventory sheets, which are in “Fresh” status.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the inventory sheet.
Click the “Delete Sheet” pushbutton to delete the inventory sheet.
Note: Only the inventory sheets, which are in “Fresh” status, can be deleted.
The status of the tag of all the assets in the inventory sheet must be in “Fresh” status or “Deleted” status.
The system updates the status of the sheet to “Deleted”.
The system updates the status of all the assets in the inventory sheet to “Deleted”.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Add Tags” link at the bottom of the page to add asset tags to the inventory sheet.
Select the “Edit Inventory Sheet” link at the bottom of the page to modify the inventory sheet.
Selecting inventory sheets for modification – An overview
You can also delete the asset tags from the sheet. You can directly enter the sheet number or can carry out the search using sheet number, the date on which the sheet is created, properties of the asset tags included in the inventory sheet like location in which the asset exists, the asset class, group to which the asset belongs, asset and tag number and the cost center in which the asset is present. The system retrieves all the inventory sheets, which are in “Fresh” status.
On Deletion of inventory sheet, the system updates the status of the inventory sheet to “Deleted”. The system updates the status of all the asset tags in the deleted sheet to “Deleted”. The asset tags, which are deleted, are released and are available for any other inventory sheet creation. The system stores the login ID of the user along with the modification history.

Delete the inventory sheet in “Fresh” status
You can select the sheets, which are in “Fresh” status. All the asset tags in the sheet are released when the sheet is deleted.
Specify the search criteria to search for the inventory sheet.
Select the inventory sheet, which are “Fresh” status and click the “Delete Sheet” pushbutton.
The system updates the status of the sheet to “Deleted”.

You can select the inventory sheet for modification or addition of new asset tags.
Specify the search criteria to search for the inventory sheet.
Select the sheet, which you want to modify or add asset tags and select the respective link at the bottom of the page.
