Security - An Overview

Introduction

This component allows you to maintain the security process and consists of the following activities:

• Home Page

This page allows you to select “Recent Activity” or a “Favorites” activity or a “Business Processes”.

• Change Defaults

This page allows you to modify the default values for Language, Role and OUInstance for a user.

• Changing Password

This activity facilitates change of a user password.

• Organize Favorites

This activity allows you to choose a favorite activity. You can select the activities from the help screen and save the activity as “Favorites”.

• Switching Context

This activity allows you to switch to a different organization unit and language combination for the particular role without logging out.

• User Preferences

This page allows you to set defaults for user preferences.

• Screen Shortcut Entry

This activity allows you to add or delete shortcuts to any screens that the user has privilege to.
