Mapping parts to process

This tab allows mapping the constituent parts of the product structure to the individual tasks in the process plan, while manufacturing the parent part.

Select the “Map Parts to Process” tab to map constituent parts to tasks.
Enter the following in the multiline:

Part #

The constituent part to be mapped to the task.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Part Description	The textual description of the part.
BOM Qty	The quantity of parts required to make the product structure part.

Enter the following:

Task #

Use the drop-down list and select the task to which the part is mapped. The system lists all the tasks defined in the process plan.

The system displays the following:

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Enter the following:

Qty

The quantity of parts required for performing the task on the constituent part.

The system displays the following:

UOM

The unit of measurement of the part.

To proceed carry out the following:

Select the “Product Structure” tab to define the product structure details.
