Maintain Sales Information – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to update the sales information of the selected part. Sales information can be entered when the usage of the part is specified as ‘saleable’. Whether the part can be sold or not is specified in the "Maintain Planning Information" activity. A personnel from the sales department updates the sales information of the part. Also you can specify the pricing basis used while defining sales information for a part.

The “Select Part #” page allows you to search and select a part number for updating the sales information. The “Maintain Sales Information” page allows you to update the sales details of the part. The “Maintain UOM Conversion” page allows you to update the UOM conversion details of the part.

You are provided with Help facility for selecting the unit of measurement.

The sales information can be entered when the usage of the part is specified as ‘saleable’ in "Maintain Planning Information activity.

Maintain UOM conversion

While there can be multiple UOMs defined for a part, only one conversion factor can be defined for a given combination of UOMs. You can enter the unit of measurement (UOM) conversion factor for a given combination of UOMs, for a selected part.
