The “Flight Log Recording Options” tab page appears.

Enforce Sequential Reporting of Journey Log

Use the drop-down list box to allow or disallow sequential reporting of journey log. The system lists the options “Yes” and “No”.

  • Yes  - Select this option to enforce sequential reporting of journey log.

  • No - Select this option if you don’t wish to enforce sequential reporting of journey log.

The system sets the field to “No” by default.

Flight Details Validation Basis

Use the drop-down list box to select the means by which the flight and leg number must be validated. The system displays the following options:

  • Flight # - Select this option to confirm that the incoming and the outgoing flight and leg number are already defined for the aircraft model associated to the aircraft in the “Flight Assignment” business component.

  •   Assignment – Select this option to confirm the following:

The incoming and outgoing flight and the leg number are assigned to an ‘active’ flight assignment number created in the “Create Fight Assignment” activity of the “Flight Assignment” business component.

The aircraft model associated to the aircraft is defined as the “Preferred Model” for the flight assignment number.

The schedule departure date of the incoming and outgoing flight is as per the date effectivity defined for the flight assignment number.

The schedule departure date of the incoming and outgoing flight is valid for the weekly pattern defined for the flight assignment number.

  • Not Required – Select this option, if you do not wish to enforce any validation upon the flight details.

The system sets the field to “Flight #” by default.

Select Options

Use the drop-down list box and select one of the following options to display the relevant parameters and their permitted values in the multiline.

  • Flight Day Computation Options

  • Journey Log Display Options

  • Journey Log Computation Options

By default, the system displays “Flight Day Computation Options”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Flight Day Computation Options” multiline:

Category

The category type of the parameter. Refer to the section "Parameters and their permitted values" for more details.

Parameter

The parameter mapped to the category. Refer to the section "Parameters and their permitted values" for more details.

Permitted Values

The permitted value for the parameter. Refer to the section "Parameters and their permitted values" for more details.

Value

The value you want to define for the parameter.

The system displays the following fields in the “Flight Day Computation Options / Journey Log Display Options” multiline:

Status

The system displays “Defined” if value has been already defined for the Parameter. Else the system displays "Not Defined".

Message Center

The error message is displayed when the value entered is not within the validity of the permitted values.
