The “Additional Options” tab page appears:

Time Zone Reference for Log Records

Use the drop-down list box to specify the time zone reference for log records. The system lists the options “Local”, “UTC”, “Starting Station”, “Destination Station” and “User Defined”.

Time Zone For UTC

The time zone for UTC (Time Format).

Basis To Update Engine Flight Hours

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis to update engine/inflight flight hours.

Default Reason for Cannibalization

The default reason for cannibalization (Alphanumeric, 20). The reason code entered here must be a valid code as defined in the “Common Masters” business component.

Enforce Excess/Core Returns?

Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes”, to enforce core returns. Select “No” otherwise.

By default the system sets the field to “Yes”.

CoM Reqd?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether certificate of maintenance is required. The system lists the options “Required”, “Not Required” and “User Selected”. By default, the system sets the field to “Required”.

Reporting of Standard / Non-Standard Parameters

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether reporting of standard or non-standard parameters of the aircraft is required in the “Update Parameter Values” page.

Ref. Date for Compliance against Flight Ops

Use the drop-down list box to specify the reference date for compliance history updation against flight operations, in the “Aircraft” business component. The system lists the following options:

  • “Start Date” – Select this option if the compliance history must be updated on the start date of the journey log.

  •  “End Date” – Select this option if the compliance history must be updated on the end date of the journey log.

  •  “User Defined” – Select this option if the compliance history must be updated on the user-specified date.

By default, the system sets the field to “Start Date”.

Ref. Date for Compliance against Repair Station

Use the drop-down list box to specify the reference date for compliance history updation against the repair station, in the “Aircraft” business component. The system lists the following options:

  •  “Start Date” – Select this option if the compliance history must be updated on the start date of the journey log.

  •   “End Date” – Select this option if the compliance history must be updated on the end date of the journey log.

  •  “User Defined” – Select this option if the compliance history must be updated on the user-specified date.

By default, the system sets the field to “Start Date”.

Part # Used For Fuel

The part number to be used while displaying the unit of measurements for the fuel, where the “Fuel UOM” field is referred in this business component (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The part number should have already been defined in the "Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component in “Active” status.

Part # Used For Hydraulic Oil

The part number to be used while displaying the unit of measurements for the hydraulic oil, where the “Hyd Oil UOM” field is referred in this business component (Alphanumeric, 40). The part number should have already been defined in the "Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component in “Active” status.

Part # Used For Engine Oil

The part number to be used while displaying the unit of measurements for the engine oil, where the “Engine Oil UOM” field is referred in this business component (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The part number should have already been defined in the "Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component in “Active” status.

The part number to be used while displaying the unit of measurements for the APU oil, where the “APU Oil UOM” field is referred in this business component (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The part number should have already been defined in the "Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component in “Active” status.

Note: If any of the values in the “Part Number References” group box is modified, ensure that the unit of measurement of the existing part number and the new part number are the same.
