Create Journey Log – A summary of the activity
A flight log is used to capture information about every journey that an aircraft undertakes and report the corrective action taken by the maintenance team. The flight log broadly consists of two parts – the journey log and the technical log. The pilot or flight - incharge records the journey log. The journey log is created after the accomplishment of a flight by an aircraft. The aircraft mechanic or engineer records the technical log after the journey log is reported and before the commencement of the next journey.
This activity enables you to create the journey log. You can enter the basic journey details, delay details (if any), maintenance execution details, crew change details and the discrepancies (if any), observed and reported by the pilot during the flight.
A unique system-generated number identifies each journey log. The system assigns the “Fresh” status to the journey log on creation.

Record pilot reported discrepancies
Discrepancies are typically the symptoms of the problem, which are observed by the operation crew, such as the pilot, or the cabin crew. After a flight journey, the pilot reports the discrepancies that were observed during the flight. These are recorded in the journey log.
Use the “Record Pilot Reported Discrepancies” page to add or modify the discrepancy or defect details.
Report Delay/Operation Interruption details
The delays that have occurred during the journey can be recorded. Delay details such as total delay, total delay on departure and the total delay on arrival can be specified.
